Hello! My name is Mrs. Voeller and I am thrilled to be your child's Teacher!
Hello, my name is Mrs. Julie Voeller, and I am excited to be your child’s first grade teacher! This is my seventh exciting year teaching.
I began my career as a special education teacher for students in the third through sixth grade. Shortly, after that, I found a home in third grade. I have also began to further my educational path training with a Gifted Education endorsement. This year I will begin my journey in first grade, and I cannot wait to begin creating life lessons alongside my students again this year!
I aim to create a classroom that is an enlightening and welcoming environment for every learning style. I believe teaching social and emotional learning is just as important as higher order thinking.
I grew up in Phoenix for most of my life, graduating high school in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Master's degree in General Education and Special Education. I began my work with children and families leading social groups and working as a mentor within intervention programs. Working with these special families, I was inspired to further my path in education. I love working with children, and I have always been fascinated with how each person's mind works differently. It is my passion to inspire students, and find a path to each student's unique way of learning.
My students, dance, music, traveling, reading, and my family are my inspirations. When I am not creating in the classroom, I am usually at a dance studio with my two wonderful daughters, or curled up with a cup of tea and a book. I have two wonderful daughters, a fantastic husband, and a big black cat. I look forward to learning with your children and watching their minds grow!
